Security regarding debit and credit card transactions
Online orders and Internet payment transactions
Online orders are directed to HSBC's secure payment gateway. We have no access to your charge card details, and this is by far the most secure method of payment.
Charge card security rules require us to verify the land line telephone number that is registered at the card-holder's billing billing address.
Telephone orders and payment transactions
It is never advisable to divulge your credit or debit card details to a third party. Also, the chance of the transaction being declined is dramatically increased when someone other than the card holder attempts to complete a credit card charge.
We would emphasise that charge card security rules require us to verify the land line telephone number that is registered at the card-holder's billing address - this is absolutely obligatory if the billing and delivery addresses differ.
Minimum Order Levels
Due to the nature of the products and the very low prices offered at Insulation-Online, customers will achieve the best value on orders over £500.00 before VAT. For orders below this £500.00 threshold, customers should visit another branch of our company ... www.just-insulation.com .. as they are better established to deliver smaller orders, on transport of less than 28 tons.
Delivery Lead Times
We deliver orders to our customers speedily and efficiently from seventy depots located throughout the country. We also arrange for off-shore deliveries to the British isles and to European Union member states.
Internet Orders
Product deliveries can arrive on the working day following receipt of orders if received before 10am.
Internet orders received after 10am (particularly in the Greater London area) may require two days delivery lead time, so please try to order in good time if next day delivery is required.
Please bear in mind that Internet communications are not necessarily instantaneous, and your communication may take some time to be received.
Payment of orders by Credit card and Debit Card are processed immediately. Payments by BACs or by Cheque may require bank clearance prior to goods being shipped.
Telephone Orders
Being an Online Shop, we give priority to orders placed via our secure web site. Due to charge card authorisation procedures, transactions undertaken on the Card Holder's behalf by third parties (such as ourselves) require rigorous and time consuming authorisation procedures. Consequently, delivery of orders placed over the telephone will commonly require two working days lead time.
Small Orders
We reserve the right to opt out of small orders that have minimal quantities from various, different distribution points.
Receipt of Deliveries and other Delivery Information
Deliveries are generally made between 8am and 2pm if delivered on our own transport.
Orders for smaller/lighter items may be made by Courier and can arrive between 8am and 6pm.
Due to the logistics of large vehicle deliveries it is not possible for us to advise estimated times of arrivals.
Equally, with Couriers their delivery schedules are outside of our influence. Deliveries dates are confirmed by email, and reflect our best estimate.
However, we cannot guarantee delivery dates due to the numerous elements that are outside of our control.
Orders are most commonly delivered in 28 ton lorries, so it is important that your property is accessible to such vehicles.
A delivery note needs to be signed upon receipt of goods.
Arrangements can be made for unattended deliveries at the customers own risk.
Delivery locations
We deliver throughout England and Wales; Scotland; Northern Ireland; Channel Islands; and Southern Ireland.
Depending upon locations, availability of some items may need to be confirmed, as may delivery times.
Clearly, deliveries to remote locations may take longer than those in the proximity of large conurbations.
Deliveries to off-shore locations will be dependent upon ferry crossing times. Delivery Charges to the Hebrides, Channel Islands, et cetera incur shipping costs of approximately £130.00 per pallet.
Delivery Charges and Procedures (EC Member States)
